I don’t know about the “true romance”…
I would say the “true romance” of the saga is that of Katniss and her struggle to first survive others, then to survive herself - all the while internally battling between her humanity and the detached sensibilities that allowed her to survive in this world in the first place.
But seriously, did they even read the damn series? So ridiculous. Ugh. Stupid. You want to talk about romance and the Hunger Games? Try Finnick and Annie. Come on… Peeta had more of a romance with his pastries than Katniss did with Gale.
